(I.D. 1-4 O.D. 3-8) Use on short runs on level sites to evenly water over the entire length of the tubing. Maximum run length off .5" tubing should be no more than is 15. Flow rate is 12 GPH per 100 at 10 PSI. Use standard 1/4" fittings to connect to .5" poly tubing.

This high quality soaker hose weeps along its entire length. It lasts many years, above or below ground, and won't crack or decay, even in freezing weather. Made from recycled tires. Soaker hose can be used in gardens, orchards, perennial borders, planters and raised beds.

For best results, bury the hose at least 4 deep. Soaker hose needs low water pressure and requires a regulator -- click here for our selection. Soaker hose also requires a filter to screen out small particles. If your water has heavy mineral deposits, soaker hose is not recommended. The recommended PSI for this hose to perform well and not break apart is 8-10 PSI. Its also not designed for tight turns.

The hose can kink and then will break apart at that point. The hoes does not provide a uniform distribution of water. Soaker hose can be used in straight lines or snaked back and forth between plants. Barbed fittings fit inside Aquapore hose and metal clamps are needed to secure the fittings.
