What is the value of the freight allowance to you? Using a West coast example, Californians are spending anywhere from $120 to $270 for a 1-ton shipment from Peaceful Valley. To Oregon, it's running $160 to $280, and to Washington, between $190 and $290. So with this freight allowance, West coast customers can save 50% to 100% off their freight bill. Coordinate with other farmers and neighbors to pull together a combined order so that you all receive the best prices possible. Remember, price discounts are applied based on the total retail sales volume of a single order, so plan on one payer, shipping to one location, on one order.
Discounts apply only to items sold at regular retail price, not in addition to merchandise already volume discounted through our published quantity price breaks (you will get whichever discount is better). Sub-total excludes sales tax and shipping.
Freight allowance has no cash value. It can only be credited against actual shipping charges. Unused freight allowance cannot be credited against any other subsequent order and will be lost.
Bulk merchandise (compost, gypsum, liquid fish, etc.), drop ship items (ship directly from our suppliers), BCS tillers, grow lights, greenhouses, Agribon Early Buy, Omega Drums, Isomate, Soil Builder & Legume Oat mixes, custom mixes, and special orders are totally excluded from this progam. They do not count toward sub-total and cannot be discounted.
Wholesale purchases do not qualify either for our Big Order Discount.
