Cold hardy cool season cover crop. Commonly planted cover crop grown across America. Multiple use cover crop, commonly combined with other legumes such as hairy vetch.

  • Facts to Note: Pair with other nitrogen-fixing legumes. Can germinate in soil temperatures as low as 34°F. Seed from late summer to midfall in zones 3-7 and from fall to midwinter in zones 8 and higher. Mow or till early to minimize nitrogen tie-up.
