This is a wonderful eating mushroom, which grows fast and fruits several crops of mushrooms.

The mushrooms are blue gray in color, if ample light is present. They can also be off white in color, if grown in dim light. They are easy to grow and store well after harvesting in the refrigerator. The mushrooms have a decided seafood taste, similar to oysters or abalone. Oyster mushrooms should only be eaten cooked.

Customer Reviews

Super easy!

This is the easiest mushroom kit I've ever tried. All you do is open the box and water it. That's it! It really produces a lot of high quality blue oyster mushrooms. I don't much like shell fish, but I love these mushrooms!

Easy to Grow

This was very easy to grow and I got a huge crop of mushrooms after only two weeks. They weren't kidding about the \"just add water.\" The mushrooms tasted just like oysters or abalone.
