| | We slashed shipping rates East of the Rockies by up to 50%. Pay rates similar to zone 5 even if you are in zones 6, 7 or 8! | We want to expand our sales East of the Rockies! Why? Because you have wanted to buy from us, but shipping charges have been an obstacle. So, we want to offer you a deal you can't pass up. To accomplish that, we slashed FedEx Ground rates East of the Rockies by up to 50%, depending on the zones and the package weight ranges. This is truly quite a deal, so take advantage of it!
In a nutshell, we have practically lumped zone 6, zone 7, and zone 8 into zone 5. So, if you live "back East" in either Bangor (Maine), Miami, Austin (Texas) or Chicago, our new FedEx Ground rates are going to cost you about the same than if you are living in Denver or Albuquerque.

As importantly, we now ship to residences via FedEx Home Delivery (deliveries on Tuesday—Saturday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.) while continuing to ship to businesses via Fedex Ground (deliveries on Monday—Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.). This new service for home delivery will significantly expand the window for delivery into times of the day and days of the week when you are more likely to be home. Nonetheless, you may want to know that shipping to a business will save you $2.20 to $3.20 per package depending on the zone and package weight, so if the location where you work is an option for delivery, you may want to consider it. Note though that a business is defined by FedEx as a (1) place of business that has a front office (2) where someone is present Mon—Fri 8—5 to accept and sign for deliveries.
With some exceptions in rural areas, FedEx Ground is also faster! Expect the following transit time for FedEx Home Delivery or FedEx Ground shipments: One (1) business day for No. CA and west NV. Two (2) business days for So. CA, WA, OR, ID, NV, west UT. Three (3) business days for MT, WY, CO, AZ and part of NM. Four (4) business days East of the Rockies except five (5) business days for SC, NC, VA, all of New England and FL. However, please note that rural zip codes may not be serviced daily but only 2—3 times a week.
