An easy-to-use heating mat. Simply place seed flats on the wire racks and plug into a normal 110 outlet. The temperature is self-regulating and stays about 20 degrees warmer than the surrounding air temperature. The wire rack is made of non-conductive metal and can be handled with no danger of being burned. (Be sure to have a light source available for seedlings as they emerge so they don't get leggy.) This mat has E.T.L. approval, which is a world wide approved electrical testing agency.
