A Pyrethrin Botanical Insecticide

EverGreen uses pyrethrins that are extracted from a species of daisy flower (Tanacetum cinerariaefolium) which provides superior insecticidal performance against a broad spectrum of insect pest species.

EverGreen is a contact insecticide that disrupts the normal functioning of the insect’s nervous system, resulting in a characteristic rapid knockdown and control of the target insect. Pyrethrins in EverGreen are synergized with piperonyl butoxide (PBO). PBO blocks the enzymes responsible for the detoxification of pyrethrins, thus allowing more insecticide to reach the target site in the insect’s nervous system.

  • Pyrethrin is used against a wide range of insects including ants, aphids, army worms, beetles (asparagus, blister, cucumber, Colorado potato, flea, Mexican bean), cabbage loopers, caterpillars, cockroaches, earwigs, fleas, flies, harlequin bugs, fruit flies, leafrollers, leafhoppers, mosquitoes, psyllids, thrips, ticks, whiteflies, & more. It is registered for use on most crops, harvested fruits, stored products and livestock, pets and poultry.
  • Use at 1-2 tsp/gal or 10-24 oz/acre.
  • Contains 6% Pyrethrins, 60% Piperonyl butoxide, 34% inerts. Also contains petroleum distillates.
  • No pre-harvest interval, apply anytime, up to and including the day of harvest

Note: Piperonyl butoxide may not be appropriate for organic use. Operator ID# is required for all California commercial growers.
