Removes sediment in water. Has a 150 mesh nylon screen. Comes with a flush valve that automatically flushes out sediment build-up each time the water shuts off. When your valve or faucet shuts off, the pressure in the line starts to drop off. As the pressure in the line drops to 5 psi, the flush valve opens to flush the sediment and then closes as the pressure drops below 3 psi. Filter can be opened for a more thorough cleaning of the screen, as silt or algae builds up on the screen. Use for up to 12 GPM over 200 ft of Aquapore or over 300 ft T-Tape. (MPT x MPT)
