Fruit Fly Trap Kit

4-in-1 trap for Walnut Husk Fly, Cherry Fruit Fly, Blueberry Maggot, and Apple Maggot. Walnut Husk Fly larvae cause the dark black damage to walnut shells. Cherry Fruit Fly larvae tunnel into and ruin cherry fruits. See Apple Maggot Traps for description of Apple Maggot and other trap option. Each kit contains two 5" x 9" double-sided yellow sticky boards and two lures which slowly release an attracting scent over a 10+ week period.



Place the trap high up in the tree canopy. For trapping out: use 3-5 traps per tree. For monitoring: use no less than 3 traps per orchard. An additional Apple Scent Lure (PIT605) in each trap may be used to enhance the effectiveness of trapping Apple Maggot flies.
