Whether you're a mobile, urban gardener looking for a portable kitchen garden; or a serious homesteader with self-sufficiency on your mind, Peaceful Valley has kits to fit your needs. The M Brace® metal corners allow you to drop in boards to create beds. Change your location? Change the length of the boards. Minifarmbox™ kits give you pre-cut, cedar wood and connectors. The jumbo-sized Smart Pots are a snap to unfold. Simple set-up, any way!
The M Brace™ lets you slide boards into the corners and you'll have a raised bed in minutes, with NO TOOLS needed. Right at home in veggie gardens, and the perfect complement to patios and decks. Stack any 2" wood into the brace. The corners rust to a beautiful patina over time, or you can spray paint them for a custom look, or use a clear coating to preserver the silvery steel finish.
The Minifarmbox™ kits run the gamut from rolling 2' x 4' boxes for patios, to 4' x 4' square size raised beds that can be extended in length and depth. These kits could not be simpler to build. Just cedar boards and connecting rods. No rusting screws or breakable plastic. Assemble these in less than 10 minutes, with only a hammer. Constructed of sustainably harvested cedar and heavy duty aluminum connecting rods. The Western Red Cedar was harvested in accordance with the policies of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and the kits are all FSC Certified.
Resulting from over 25 years of research and feedback from commercial tree farmers and nursery staff, the Smart Pot is a fabric aeration container. Foldable and made with a UV stabilizer, it will last from 3 to 5 years. Smart Pots let the roots grow out to the side of the pot where they come in contact with air. The root tips then dry out and cause the plant to create more roots laterally, for a healthier root system.
Raised beds produce up to twice the yield of normal gardens of equal size. Plants can be spaced closer together, and soil quality is easier to maintain. The warmer soil in raised beds makes the growing season longer by allowing plants to thrive earlier in spring and later in fall.
Raised beds require less water and provide better drainage. They make plant care easier, and reduce back strain from stooping. Easy to get started and easy to keep going, they provide years of low maintenance gardening.
