Planting & Care

Soil & Water: Plant prefers full sun to part shade and regular watering in regular garden soil.

Planting & Growing:Sow the seed in the fall, winter or very early spring, directly in the garden, in a prepared seedbed. They do well this way, and don't seem to like growing in pots. Barely cover seeds, tamp firmly, and keep evenly moist until germination. Thin or transplant to 1-2 ft apart.

Harvesting & Storage: Harvest seeds when they can be rubbed from the umbel, then shade dry, stirring frequently. 120 days to seed.
