Soil & Water:Plant prefers full sun and well-manured soil and plenty of water.
Planting & Growing: In the spring, sow seed and barely cover with soil, tamping secure and keeping evenly moist and in the light until germination. Average germ time 10 days. Space 1 to 2 feet apart. Compost and water lightly.
Harvesting & Storage:Flower heads are used fresh, dried or powdered. Harvest as often as plant can support.
