In order to make good compost tea you need to have food to grow the microbes that are extracted from the compost. This product provides that food. Use one full 19-oz container per 50 gallon water, or for smaller batches use 1⁄3 lb of compost (¾ cup) and 3 tsp of Compost Tea Food per gallon of water. Start with 15 lbs of compost in the water, and then add the Compost Tea Food to the aerated water. Aerate for 12—24 hours to get peak microbial populations. Use the tea immediately unless you can keep aerated, then use within 1—2 days. Contains kelp, micronized humates, and fish powder.
