Quick Source of Trace Minerals Chelates are a potent source of trace minerals specially processed (chelated) to be readily available and quickly absorbed by plants. Chelates are most frequently used as foliars to provide a short-term, quick fix for mineral deficiencies affecting plant metabolism, fruit set, etc. in existing crops.
