12% calcium. Useful in preventing blossom end rot and effects of low soil pH in existing crops. Derived from citric acid and calcium chloride. Apply at 1-12 qt/acre, depending on crop and calcium levels in the soil, 1-2 tbs/gallon water. Quick Source of Trace Minerals Chelates are a potent source of trace minerals specially processed (chelated) to be readily available and quickly absorbed by plants. Chelates are most frequently used as foliars to provide a short-term, quick fix for mineral deficiencies affecting plant metabolism, fruit set, etc. in existing crops. The Fertall brand products listed below come in liquid form, for easy application. Not chelated with the highly synthetic EDTA, unacceptable to most certifying agencies, but with lignosulfonates, which are wood processing derivatives.
