Vermicrop Organics VermiBlend Premium Soil Amendment was created for the organic gardener. A rich blend of compost, earthworm castings, Alaskan humus, Fossilized Kelp and Mycorrhizae will help you grow a lush bountiful organic garden. 1 Bag of VermiBlend amends up to 5 cubic ft of potting soil.
Our compost is inoculated with our Vermi T to increase the decomposition and fertility of the compost it is also screened to Ό" removing the majority of the woody and non-decomposed materials out- leaving only the richest, healthiest organic matter. This compost blended with our earthworm castings is the key to breaking down the hydrophobic layer and to the feeding of the earthworm castings. Both the earthworm castings and compost increase water retention in sandy soil and improve drainage in clay soils.
The Fossilized Kelp is full of vitamins, micro nutrients, minerals and most importantly has a high available amount of calcium.
The Endo/Ecto Mycorrhizae attach to the roots of plants and the fine filaments then radiate out to the surrounding area increasing absorption several 100 to several 1000 times. This increases access to the soil resources which equals better plant production. Several miles of these filaments can be present in less than a thimble full of the VermiBlend Premium Soil Amendment. Mycorrhizae fungi supply the water & the nutrients needed by plants for survival and establishment. Mycorrhizae fungi unlock tightly bound nutrients such as phosphorous, calcium and Iron. Once unlocked the same fungi transport the nutrients back to the plant where they can be utilized.

VermiBlend Premium Soil Amendment recommended application rates:
For vegetable, flower gardens and all purpose applications
Apply at a rate of 1bag of VermiBlend Premium Soil Amendment to a 5'x 5' area or a 1/2" ground cover to new or depleted flower beds. NOTE: Mix into soil well.
For planting mix and potting soil
Add VermiBlend Premium Soil Amendment at a rate of 15% (approximately 1 bag VermiBlend to 5 cubic feet of soil) br>
For soilless gardening / Indoor potted plants (ie. Peat moss or coco)
Add VermiBlend Premium Soil Amendment at a rate of 10% (approximately 1 bag VermiBlend to 9 cubic feet of soilless media)
For trees and shrubs or established plants
Apply VermiBlend Premium Soil Amendment as a ½" top dressing around the base of the plant; work into soil and water.
