Seedless grapefruit with red-tinted skin and flesh. Grows best in warm interior regions. Not for indoor pots since fruit is too heavy to be supported on a small tree. Needs high-accumulated heat and only reaches peak quality in hot inland and desert areas.
Zones 6-11. Self-fruitful, grows to 8'-12' (smaller in containers). Citrus are evergreen plants with bright green foliage & fragrant flowers. Not difficult to grow but have certain requirements; affected by cold & accumulated heat. Tender foliage damaged below 32°F, hardy citrus damaged below 18°F, and most fruit at 26°-28°F. After frost damage, most citrus still produces fruit the following year. All citrus require accumulated heat for ripening, except lemons. Beautiful in pots indoors. 1.5 year old, semi-dwarf trees on C-35 Citrange seedling, pencil caliper, 3-3.5' tall.
