Prevents Sunburn Protect fruit and nut trees and foliage of many different crops from sunburn damage with a fine protective coating of this natural kaolin clay. Good coverage is essential for adequate sunburn protection, but if applied shortly before harvest, may leave a white residue on produce going to market. May also be useful for keeping fruit crops cooled down to slow ripening during warm autumns. Use 50-100 lbs/100 gallons water, apply 50-500 gallons spray/acre, depending on crop size.
