Fast, non-selective burn-down herbicide. University research and grower trials have demonstrated its effectiveness against a broad spectrum of weeds such as common chickweed, crabgrass, foxtail, johnson grass, lambsquarters, pigweed, purslane, russian thistle, wild oats and others. Active ingredient is clove oil, other ingredients include wintergreen oil and lecithin. For best results, apply Matran to young weeds less than two inches in height with thorough coverage. Use 1-8 gal in 25-100 gal of water/acre. Using Therm X70 yucca extract (0.3 fl. oz/gallon) significantly enhances coverage and performance of Matran. Multiple applications may be necessary on larger weeds. This pest control is exempt from registration and reporting under Federal & California EPA standards and therefore requires no Pest ID#.
