Dactylis glomerata
Irrigated pasture grass introduced from New Zealand. Begins growth early, and continues to fill in after the ryegrasses begin to diminish. Grows 4.5 to 5 ft. Fine-stemmed, leafy, and lower growing. Planting rate: 15-20 lb/acre or 1-2 lb/1000 sq ft. (No inoculant needed)
