Dactylis glomerata

Irrigated perennial cover crop. Irrigated pasture grass introduced from New Zealand. Begins growth early, and continues to fill in after the ryegrasses begin to diminish. Grows 4½' to 5'. Fine-stemmed, leafy, and lower growing. Planting rate: 15—20 lb/acre or 1—2 lb/1000 sq ft. (No inoculant needed)
