Trifolium repens var.
Perennial legume cover crop. Lowest-growing (6"-10") perennial white clover, often planted in lawns because it tolerates regular mowing and shade, and requires summer irrigation. Recommended by M. Fukuoka (The One Straw Revolution) for use in permanent vegetable and row crop plantings. Spreads rapidly, chokes weeds and can be invasive. Does not tolerate heat and sun as well as New Zealand White. Plant 0.25"-0.5" deep, 0.5-1 lb/1000 sq ft or 15-30 lb/acre in fall or spring. (Raw seed, requires Alfalfa-Clover inoculant.)
Unit Ship Weight: 1.05 lbs.
