Perennial legume, 18" tall. Perfect for problem slopes. Needs no maintenance or mowing and thrives in any climate, sun or semi-shade. Resists drought, diseases and insects, adds nitrogen to the soil, retards run-off and chokes out weeds. Once established, minimal irrigation in dry climates. Beautiful pinkish-lavender to white clusters of flowers bloom from June until frost. Crownvetch is best planted in early spring, but any time that allows 2 months of growth before freezing is recommended. Annual rye can be used as a nurse crop. Use 1 lb of Crownvetch and 1 lb of annual rye/1000 sq ft. (Raw seed, requires Crownvetch inoculant.)
Unit Ship Weight: 1.05 lbs.
