Cool season cover crop.Adapted to high altitudes with cold & short growing seasons, barley can be grown further north than any other cereal grain. Provides abundant biomass and has an extensive root system. Good for erosion control, organic matter and weed suppression due to its quickly established nature. Seed at 60-90 pounds per acre.
