This test is a quick, inexpensive way to monitor the approximate acidity or alkalinity of your soil. All you do is mix your soil sample with a pH reagent solution in a test tube, match the resulting color to a chart and interpret, using the tables provided. Chart is graduated to increments of 1.0 pH. The kit contains materials for 15 tests. Much greater accuracy can be achieved with a pH meter.
