Ordering Our Hightunnel Greenhouse KitsGREENHOUSE KITS AND LOST CREEK FRAME BENDERS: A unique opportunity to save big on commercial-grade, Hightunnel Greenhouses! Purchase the Lost Creek Frame Bender or the Complete Kit (which includes the Lost Creek Frame Bender), and then buy the tubing at your local fencing company or hardware store. Purchase the optional Roll Up Sides separately for natural cooling of either style greenhouse. Most Hightunnel/Cold Frame Greenhouses are constructed of short pieces of thin-walled, galvanized tubing pieces that are slipped into one another to create one piece. These commercial Hightunnel Kits utilize full size, 1-3⁄8" galvanized tubular framing that is purchased by you locally, bent and assembled by you, using the Frame Bender and hardware included in the kit. You will sleekly bend galvanized steel tubing in seconds. The 1-3⁄8" tubing is readily available at any local fence supply as 1.315" "top rail." Over 75% of the cost of most other home greenhouse kits is in the tubing, packaging and the cost of shipping such bulky materials. These kits offer everything except the top rail tubing, including the Lost Creek Frame Bender that allows you to easily get true bends from the tubing every time, saving you a lot of money! Hightunnels are high roof, unheated (usually), plastic covered greenhouse structures that provide environmental protection and control compared to open field conditions or heated polycarbonate greenhouses. You can grow right in the ground or build your own benches for plant or plug production. This design offers natural cooling and heating by utilizing air movement. These versatile structures offer a great opportunity to enjoy several full seasons of growing in a single year. End Walls can be made of galvanized tubing or wood (not included), covered with durable Super Strong Woven Poly (included in kit). These 10' to 12' high frames are even tall enough to allow tilling with a tractor or trellising tall growing plants and are strong enough to withstand 60 mph winds. You can easily add vents, benches, conventional doors and windows, your choice of doors and roll-up sides (see below) to utilize natural cooling. Construct the greenhouse with just basic tools: hammer, electric saw, pipe cutter, drill, etc. Full instructions, online help and a video is included to show you how to bend and build these quality units in several configurations, from hoop-style cold frames to 100' long Quonset Style or Gothic Arch Style Hightunnels. Instructions include making 36" high sidewalls which allow you to install benches for nursery production. The kits are available in 10', 12' and 20' widths and in lengths from 24'—96'.
