Gopher Trapping TipsMake sure you've really got gophers! Gophers make a horseshoe-shaped mound with their exit hole on one side of the mound. Moles make a circular, volcano-shaped mound with the hole in the center. Field mice & voles do not usually make mounds, just holes. Gophers do not make runs near the surface, moles do.
