All About Ordering Seed PotatoesCERTIFIED ORGANIC/CERTIFIED SEED POTATOES Available to Ship: Mid October depending on crop growing conditions. Orders typically will ship within 5-10 business days, but may be held until weather conditions allow for safe delivery to your location. (Potatoes cannot be allowed to freeze!) You will be notified if delays occur. Ordering Deadline: Until current year's crop is sold out, typically May. Description: 5 lb minimum order, comprised of any combination of 1 lb increments or more per variety Special Shipping Requirements: Ships from grower direct from Colorado via UPS Ground only. Maximum weight per package is 50 lbs. Shipping charges are as follows: Weight Zones 2-5 Zones 6-8 5 lbs $12 $14 6-10 lbs $13 $16 11-15 lbs $14 $20 16-20 lbs $15 $24 21-25 lbs $16 $28 26-30 lbs $18 $32 31-35 lbs $19 $36 36-40 lbs $21 $40 41-45 lbs $22 $43 46-50 lbs $23 $46 CONVENTIONALLY GROWN/CERTIFIED SEED POTATOES Available to Ship: Varies, call for specifics. Orders typically will ship within 5-10 business days, but may be held until weather conditions allow for safe delivery to your location. (Potatoes cannot be allowed to freeze!) You will be notified if delays occur. Ordering Deadline: Until sold out — typically by May Description: 500 lb minimum order, in 50 lb increments per variety. Special Shipping Requirements: Ships direct from Washington state via truck. Mix-or-Match Quantity Discount: For quantity discount, combine conventionally grown seed varieties in increments of 50 lb each for price breaks. Call for a quote. SHIPPING POTATOES Shipping Schedule: We will immediately ship your order when the stock becomes available to ship direct from the vendor unless you inform us differently. Delay Ship Dates: Potato orders can be made ahead of shipping dates. Be aware, however, that your order will be invoiced (meaning you will be charged for the order) at the time of the order, not at the time of shipping. Non-Taxable: California sales tax law exempts food-producing plants. GUARANTEES Limitation of Remedy: We warrant to the extent of the purchase price only that the seeds or plants sold hereunder are as described on the label within recognized tolerances. No other warranty is given, expressed or implied, (1) of the merchantability or fitness of the seeds or plants for any particular purpose, or (2) against loss due to any cause. We cannot accept any responsibility for the many uncontrollable growing and climatic conditions (soil preparation, fertilization, weed and pest control, temperature control, irrigation…etc.) that must be met to insure the success of your crop(s). Delivery: All fruit and vegetable stock is guaranteed to arrive in good condition. If there is an obvious problem upon delivery (such as damage in transit), call us immedi-ately, so that we can review the situation and come to a quick and equitable resolution. If any item proves unsatisfactory within 30 days of the date of purchase, you can return it for a full refund (excluding shipping charges), subject to the merchandise being in unused, like-new condition and in its original packaging. Please note that special orders, custom seed mixes, live plants (for example, flower bulbs, bare-root trees and berries, onions, garlic, potatoes, and so forth) and beneficial insects are not returnable unless there is an obvious problem upon delivery (if so, call us immediately). Using the return form with your order, send the product back to us securely wrapped, freight prepaid and insured against loss or damage. If a defec-tive product is still under the manufacturer's warranty, we may request that you ship it directly to the manufacturer, so please always call us first.
