Lolium perenne Perennial cover crop. Important cool-season bunchgrass from Europe. Well-adapted to the Pacific Northwest. Widely used in mixtures for pasture, lawns, and erosion control. Grows best in cool, moist regions with mild winters. Grows well on heavy soils. Grows 3.5 to 4 ft. Planting rate: 25-35 lb/acre or 1-3 lb/1000 sq ft. (No inoculant needed)
