Animal Repellents Spray on areas where pets and strays don't belong including lawns, flowerbeds, garden beds, trees, shrubs and trash containers. Masks scents familiar to animals, causing them to become uneasy, and thus repelling them. Effective for a week or more, may be re-applied less frequently once animal behavior has changed. Their favorites become areas to avoid, not visit. And don't worry, the spray is made from all natural plant oils, so it's friendly to family, animals, and plants.
I haven't used this on my edible plants but I've used it on flowers and succulents that the deer love to eat. We have extremely aggressive deer and it repels them for a few days before I have to reapply. This is extremely stinky stuff! I recommend wearing gloves when spraying. It takes several hand-washings to get the smell off.Review by Katie (on 12/19/12)
The deer were eating our tomatoes, cucumbers and sunflowers. We tried spraying this product around the garden, front and back of our house, and the deer stayed away. It does have a strong odor for a short time, but when it dries you cannot smell it at all. Might want to keep your windows closed during the spraying and until it dries.Review by Debbie (on 6/27/12)
