Trifolium fragiferum Perennial legume cover crop. Beautiful dwarf (to 10) perennial has blooms the color and shape of strawberries and strong lush growth, year-round, in full sun to light shade. Excellent landscaping cover, often planted with White Alyssum for contrast. Also used as a cover crop in orchards and vines (requires irrigation). Not as heat and alkali tolerant as Palestine, but grows well on most soils. Plant in fall or spring, 0.25"-0.5 deep at 0.5-1 lb/1000 sq ft or 12-15 lb/acre. (No inoculant needed.)
