Excellent flavored, flattish-round onion. Attractive, very dark red-colored onion with rings right to the core. Good for the fresh market. Biennials grown as annuals, and easy to grow from sets. Plant 1 deep and 1-3 apart. Harvest young plants for use as scallions, thinning to 3-4. Our onion sets are US #1 grade, the best domestic quality. Sold in packs of 100 onion sets.
