Cabbage - Napa Bilko - Brassica rapa (pekinensis group)

Hardy annual F1 Organic Hybrid Large, football-shaped savoyed heads with overlapping leaves. Wide adaptability. Slow-bolting heads have a good, mild, sweet taste. Resistant to club root, fusarium, and downy mildew. Napa cabbage is a Chinese cabbage and can be eaten raw or cooked and is a favorite for pickling.

Soil & Water: Fertile soil with plenty of compost and nitrogen, moderate water.

Planting & Growing: Start seeds indoors 4-6 weeks before last frost, sow fall crop 10-12 weeks before first frost

Harvesting & Storage: Harvest promptly when mature to avoid bolting. Keeps for about a week in the refrigerator or several weeks in a root cellar.
