Cherry Tomato - Sunset Pear Blend - Lycopersicon esculentum

Tender Annual Indeterminate. Enjoy the sunset any hour of the day with our custom mix of red, pink, and yellow pear-shaped, cherry tomatoes. The warm colors and sweet flavors mean that these tomatoes will disappear from your garden basket and serving bowl almost as soon as you pick them. Don’t buy the assortments at the store; grow your own with just one seed pack.

Soil & Water: Tomatoes love fertile soil rich in organic matter. Add plenty of compost prior to planting. Soil pH is preferred between 5.5-7.0. Mulch to preserve moisture. Avoid wetting the foliage when watering.

Planting & Growing: Sow seeds in flats 6-8 weeks before the last frost and thin to 2" apart after the first true leaves appear. Harden off the plants by placing them outdoors for a few hours, increasing the amount of time each day, until they spend a full day outside then transplant them into the garden.

Harvesting & Storage: Harvest when fruits give slightly under finger pressure; the shoulders may not have changed color yet. Thin skinned cherry tomatoes may split if left too long on the vines.
