Beautiful Red Skin Potato Great for Salads

PLEASE READ BEFORE ORDERING:

Seed potatoes cannot be allowed to freeze, therefore, special shipping is required during the Fall/Winter months. Seed potatoes will ship via FedEx Ground To Zones 2-4 only and ships via FedEx 3 Day to Zones 5-8. Shipments to zones 5-8 will only ship on Monday's and Tuesday's (to ensure the potatoes do not sit in a FedEx terminal over the weekend). Orders can’t be cancelled once they’ve shipped.

Potato orders placed up to October 31 will ship as soon as potatoes arrive (ETA 11/14). However, moving forward, from Nov 1st until Mid/Late Spring, we will ONLY ship potatoes to CA, OR, WA, NV and AZ.

If you live outside of these 5 Western states, we cannot ship potatoes to you as they will otherwise invariably freeze during transit. While your specific state might be having decent weather, your order will travel through very cold regions from our CA location to yours. While you certainly can place your order, we will only ship it when the threat of freeze across the nation is over, which typically is in April or May.

Developed by Dr. Holm to replace the Sangre's deep eyes. Colorado Rose is a beautiful red skin potato that holds its color in storage and is bigger than the Bison. Easy to peel and excellent mashed. Works great in all the traditional red potato dishes.

Potatoes are simple to grow and reap pounds and pounds of rewards!

• Our potatoes are certified seed & certified organic. • Harvest 10-15 lbs. of potatoes for every pound planted under optimal conditions. • Fall-planted spuds produce outstanding yields by May. However, if your area experiences hard winters (USDA Zones 1-7), or you tend to have long wet seasons when rot might be a problem, plant potatoes in spring. • Instructions: - Complete planting information is included with your shipment. - One pound of potatoes will plant a row approximately 8' long with seed pieces spaced at 8"-12" apart. - Plan on 1,200 lbs/acre (600 lbs. of fingerlings) when rows are spaced 36" apart with 12" between plants.
