Seated at the Sunset  table, in the Star+Apple Edible Garden display at the 2012 San Francisco Flower & Garden Show, Tricia and Johanna give you a close-up look at the living succulent “table runner” that captured the imagination of show visitors.

The book has directions for making the succulent table, along with DIY ideas for all aspects of outdoor life. Johanna also explains how to ID your Western garden climate, how the editors decided which plants to include in the 4,000 listed, and how to use the new Plant Finder search function at

That’s great news! I hope you’ll have the book for viewing at Garden Writers conference in Oct. I’m always happy to help promote fellow garden writers books.
