One of the Best Tasting Mandarins

  • Semi-dwarf on Cunningham rootstock
  • Zones: 9-10 (protect when temperature drops below 26°F)
  • Fruit: Named for its bumpy golden skin; this seedless, easy to peel mandarin ripens in April and holds the tree until November. Fantastic, sweet flavor.
  • Facts of note: This University of California patented variety is not widely grown commercially as the delicate skin does not hold up well packed 4’ deep in bins.

Please note that these trees are smaller than our other varieties. They are 12 - 16" tall.

About Our Citrus

Add a little zest to your garden! Citrus trees are potted, evergreen, semi-dwarf, 1 ½-years-old, pencil caliper, 18”-24” tall from the bottom of the pot to the top of the tree. They will, with good care, produce fragrant, self-pollinating flowers and wonderful fruit. Height 8’–12’, but can be pruned to suit in ground or in containers.

Choose a sunny location, in well drained soil, sheltered from wind. They are affected by freezing temperatures, and in many locales require frost protection.

These are evergreen trees and thus the dormant bare root guarantee does not apply. Your trees will arrive in good, viable condition. Contact us immediately if they do not. Non-taxable.
