Tender annual A large, thick-walled pepper with sweet, succulent flesh. An extremely heavy producer of 3" long, heart-shaped fruit. Most delicious when ripened to scarlet red.
Soil & Water: Prefers fertile, well-drained soil with ample calcium and phosphorus. Moderate water needs.
Planting & Growing: Start indoors 8-10 weeks before last frost. Sow outside 3-4 weeks after last frost.
Harvesting & Storage: Pimiento peppers are best when ripened to a scarlet red. Can dry and use as a delicious spice.
