An old cottage garden favorite, Hollyhock makes a dramatic statement. Readily self- seeds. For an early season, start seed indoors 4 weeks before last frost. Transplant or direct sow after danger of frost has passed. Direct seed 2" apart in rows spaced 24". Thin to 12" apart.
