Cold-processed liquid kelp. Enzymatically digested, concentrated liquid extract of California Bull Kelp (Nereocystis luetkeana), harvested from kelp beds in the Pacific Ocean off the Northern coast of California. Freshly harvested kelp is rapidly processed at low temperatures, using naturally occurring enzymes isolated from the kelp, to digest and liquify the chopped kelp into a dark liquid extract.
This cold water enzymatic process preserves all the very important hormones, auxins, giberillins, enzymes, proteins, vitamins and minerals found in Bull Kelp, which is internationally recognized for its high concentration of active compounds that greatly stimulate the growth and productivity of plants. Product is then stabilized with the addition of natural humic acids which have been digested with enzymes and mixed with the kelp concentrate.
Foliar rates:1 quart-1 gallon/acre, per application. Inject at 1-5 gallon/acre. For smaller areas, use 2-4 Tbs/gallon of water.
Contains 21% solids.
So this stuff is super awesome!! I did a ton of research on trying to find a safe all around fertilizer and stumbled upon this and I decided to try it and WOW!! I had some comfrey plants that were not doing well and I mixed some of this in my watering can and watered the plants and they are super green and healthy now! I use this on my corn crops and my cucumbers love this stuff! I have been using liquid kelp for over two months now and I have not had any issues. No plant burn at all. This is now a STAPLE in my organic gardening!!!Review by Brittany (on 7/8/13)
This stuff is amazing. I simply mix it into my watering can when I go out to water. It's pretty much a sure fire way to perk sad looking plants up and is great whenever you transplant. I have yet to lose a plant to transplant shock using this kelp.Review by Kelly (on 6/18/13)
I couldn't live without liquid kelp!
It gets watered into all my plants and they look great. I've told my gardener friends about this product and if they've never heard of it, I'll give them a bottle.
I've heard it's great as a foliar feed but have not used it that way yet.
No matter which way you apply it, you can't go wrong.
