Regalia is a biofungicide that can be used to control several important fungal and
bacterial diseases such as powdery mildew, downy mildew, Botrytis grey mold, Early blight, Late blight and Bacterial leaf spot and more. Labeled for use on most edible crops, including berries, bulb vegetables, brassicas, peppers, cucurbits, leafy greens, tomatoes, strawberries, grapes, and legumes, pome fruits, stone fruits and tree nut crops.
Also labeled for many ornamental plants, including annual and perennial flowering plants, trees and shrubs.
For best results, Regalia is recommended as a preventative treatment. Apply at the rate of 0.5-1.0% in or 2-4 quarts in 50 to 100 gallons of water per acre. A 1% solution is the equivalent of about 3 Tbs/gal. Repeat applications at 7-14 day intervals to protect new growth.
Regalia’s active ingredient is an extract of Reynoutria sachalinensis (giant knotweed), which has a unique mode of action that induces disease resistance to several fungal and bacterial diseases in treated foliage. The induced resitance is not systemic, but there is a translaminal effect (when the top of the leaf is sprayed, the bottom of the leaf is also protected). Used in tank mixes, program rotations and stand-alone. It has a re-entry interval of only four hours, a pre-harvest interval of zero days, and is rainfast within an hour.
Chemigation - Regalia can also be applied through sprinkler, including center pivot, lateral move, end tow, side (wheel) roll, traveler, big gun, solid set, or hand move irrigation systems.
Regalia can be applied at 1 quart per acre when tank mixed with another fungicide.
Pesticide ID# is required for CA commercial growers.
