Planting & Care

Soil & Water:Keep seed bed consistently moist. Plant directly into well worked soil in full sun or a spot that receives partial afternoon shade.

Planting & Growing: Sow directly into well worked soil 1-2 inches apart in rows 10 inches apart. Cover with 1/4 inch of soil . Make new sowings every 2 weeks until early summer. Grows so quickly that transplanting is not recommended. Thin to 2-3 inches apart when large enough to handle.

Harvesting & Storage:Begin harvesting seedlings when several inches tall. Leave remaining seedlings to pick individual leaves when 3-4 inches long or snip leaves about 1 inch above the crown and let plants regrow for extended harvest.
