Planting & Care

Soil & Water: Plant in well worked, fertile soil in full sun after hard frosts have passed. Maintain soil moisture.

Planting & Growing: Space seed 2 inch apart and cover with 1/2 inch soil in rows 10 inches apart. Firm soil over seed to ensure germination. When large enough to handle, thin to 8-10 inches apart. Final spacing should be 12-18 inches between plants. Transplant thinnings or use in salads.

Harvesting & Storage: Begin harvest when plants are well established with 6-8 stalks.
