Planting & Care
Soil & Water: Grow in fine soil and keep evenly moist. Water well and fertilize.
Planting & Growing:Sow in finely worked soil in full sun in early spring into fall. Sow seed about 1 inch apart in rows 6-8 inches apart or broadcast lightly. Cover evenly with 1/4 inch of fine soil. Firm gently and water with a fine mist. Thin seedlings to about 12 inches apart using thinnings for early salads. Make several sowings a few weeks apart for extended season.
Harvesting & Storage:Savor early thinnings in salads. Harvest mature lettuce by picking outside leaves or cutting mature heads. Harvest while young.

Incredibly Cold Tolerant
I have many heirloom lettuce varieties bred for cold tolerance; however this lettuce blend held up better in my hoophouse through the winter freezes than any other varieties. Recommend highly!
