Bokashi is a Japanese word that means "fermented organic matter." It can be used as a soil amendment to increase the nutrient level and microbial diversity of the soil for planting.
Bokashi can be used as a microbial inoculant in situations where a liquid inoculant would be less effective such as in composting food waste and in composting toilets.
It is for use in organic production of recycled food waste. It also helps to cultivate the beneficial microorganisms as food decomposes, speeding the process of fermentation and reducing foul odors.
Probiotic Bokashi is cultured using industry leading technology. The Probiotic Inoculants used in the fermentation process consists of 14 distinct beneficial microbes for greater biodiversity. The “consortium “ of good microbes working together in your food waste composter and in your soil releases enzymes, vitamins, minerals and other micro nutrients that are Probiotic or “life generating”. Your soil and the plants that grow in it find more bioavailable nutrients because of the work of these good microbes.
As a bonus – many studies show that the lactic acid microbes suppress E.Coli, Salmonella and many other pathogens and therefore, making Probiotic Bokashi Composting a pathogenic-free and hazardous-free Organic Probiotic Inoculant.
