I've used this once with blackberries and I wasn't that impressed. It was messy and blackberry juice came out in places it shouldn't have. It didn't separate the seeds well, even using the correct attachment. When I decided to stop using it and put it away, I cut my thumb really badly trying to pick up the base of the unit. The only reason I gave this 3 stars is because the manufacturer was great and offered a credit or replacement. (Posted on 12/19/12)

I used this with tomatoes, and it worked pretty well. I kept getting tomato juice coming out where the handle goes in, and because my counter top is not smooth, the suction cup didn't work. Next time I will try it somewhere I can use the clamp. But it did make pretty short work of the tomatoes, and separated the seeds and skin quite well. I also used the recipe in the back for the Italian sauce. It was delicious, although thin until we added tomato paste. I can't wait to try it again! (Posted on 9/17/12)
