Beautiful Classic Broccoli Review by Heather

Beautiful blue green plant with extremely tender broccoli heads. After the head is harvested the plants continued to produce lots of new shoots with broccoli clusters. They grew about 4 feet in height and when left to bloom looked like huge wild bushes covered in sweet yellow flowers. The bees absolutely loved this plant and the flowers are edible and taste quite nice in a salad- though avoid the mature buds right before bloom. The have a mealy flavor.

Next season I intend on planting again. (Posted on 5/9/13)
