Harvested from sphagnum peat beds in Manitoba; peat moss holds water, provides aeration, nutrient exchange sites and decomposes slowly. It is often used as a mulch over a newly seeded lawn, etc. or as an ingredient in potting soil or soilless mixes. pH 3.5-4.5. Does not contain wetting agents.
