used 300 last year, not a single pear or apple had any bugs! When u apply the sox, u thin the surrounding fruit, getting much larger fruit at harvest. A lot of work, but way better than spray (Posted on 2/19/12)

We used these bags last year and found them very effective. A bit of trouble to put on, but it's a one-time expenditure and we' had beautiful, tasty organic apples! The year prior to their use all our apples were ruined by the apple maggot. (Posted on 7/9/11)
