We bought several of these forks and spades for use in N. California soil. In the first season of use half of them broke and the half are bent. Probably fine for use in light soil. (Posted on 9/10/12)

I was really pleased with the quality of this tool. It handled double digging my clay over loam soil that was filled with buried rocks and roots like a champion. No sign of bending of the fork and the handle held up great. (Posted on 5/23/12)
